About the Project:
“Dash” is an exhilarating arcade-platformer parkour game where players navigate through an expansive open map using their agility skills, unlocking new areas as they progress. Designed to be fast-paced and dynamic, “Dash” features a mid-poly arcade aesthetic and a soundtrack that responds to player actions, heightening the immersive experience.
Position: 3D Modeller
Responsibilities:
- Design and create captivating maps and miscellaneous assets that enhance the game’s visual appeal.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of assets within the Godot game engine.
- Use Blender or other compatible 3D software to develop high-quality models.
- Contribute to the game’s artistic vision, ensuring consistency with its fast-paced, mid-poly style.
Requirements:
- Basic proficiency in Blender or similar 3D modelling software.
- A keen interest in learning and working within the Godot game engine (prior experience not required).
- A strong passion for game development and 3D modelling.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Additional Information:
- The project is currently in the early planning stages, so there is no immediate compensation.
- The game will be released on Steam and potentially other platforms as a paid title with additional DLCs.
- Revenue from game sales and DLCs will be shared among the team based on agreed terms.
- A contract outlining the liability and responsibilities of both parties will be provided.
